Job Summary:

This position serves as a Systems Software Engineer supporting the Joint Strike Fighter (JSF) Progam or other assigned program in the Software Enginering and Acquisition Management Branch (Organizational Code: 414400A), Software Engineering and Acquistion Management Division, Systems Engineering Department in the Research and Engineering Group of the Naval Air Systems Command at the Patuxent River site. The Software Engineering and Acquisition Management Division is a Level 3 Competency in the Systems Engineering Department. The division provides the people, processes and facilities needed by Integrated Program Teams (IPT), Externally Directed Teams (EDT) and Enterprise Teams (ET) to perform overall software work including planning, development, team formulation, requirements development & management, acquisition management, configuration baseline management, risk management and technical performance measurement. The division provides the Software personnel for Systems Software Engineering Activities.
